Sanctuary tells the stories of six asylum seekers and refugees living in Glasgow, and aims to address the stigma and discrimination often experienced by asylum seekers and refugees. With Glasgow hosting increasing numbers of asylum seekers and refugees over the last few years, it was considered a priority to ensure the mental health of this social group. With stigma and discrimination often an issue, there is a reluctance for people with mental health issues to seek help within these communities.
