Interests: CHILD PROTECTION, E-LEARNING, WIDENING ACCESS, FOSTERING AND ADOPTION, LGBT ISSUES

Biography: Prior to joining the academic team at GCU I managed a Child Protection Team for Glasgow City Council. I have an interest in training and consultancy and developed an interactive Child Protection training CD-Rom for use by Area Child Protection Committees. Aside from my academic work I chair a panel for a not for profit fostering agency and am involved at a national level in LGBT issues within Scotland. I have an interest in e-learning and believe that this is an area of work which could become greatly enhance.
